Technotherapist is the term and job-title I wish I had; I enjoy helping people through their technical troubles with computers (in all forms). But it’d be even more fun with an absurd title like that. I built my first PC in 1992 and began my tech journey professionally in IT during the Y2K bug scare in 1999.
Video games are responsible for drawing me to the PC initially, and each tempered my patience and perseverance. I love being challenged by new issues, and I have a mentality that won’t give up unless every avenue has been exhausted. My name is Ahrel Finnie, and I’m a geek, a gamer, and I love technology. I have a hip cat named Minnie, a red-eared slider named Walter, and live in the East Bay Area of California.
Why start a blog in 2019? For now, it’s a place that I can document whatever tickles my fancy in a journal-like fashion, that I can find as long as I have internet. I could keep it private, but I’d rather share things that could help a soul out there, one day. it’s no fun searching for endless fixes in my career, and this place will help me document for self-recall. Enjoy tumbling through my neurosis.
